WALT- We are learning to write about made up stories.

What I learnt- I learnt how to highlight the words.

You find an old dusty suitcase in your attic.

Describe the things you find inside.

They might have been  made in the 1830s

1.Old pieces of brown ripped paper.

2.Old bites of ripped pirate clothing. 

3.Old books that tell stories from the 1890s.

4.pirates treasure chests.

The shapes of the objects could be shapes joined together to make the shapes look weird when joined together.

Reflection-

2 stares - I like because you can use your ideas your story.

I also like it because you can chose the font that you want to write your story.

1 wish- I wish that you could chose the subject in your writing.

fishing

WALT-WE are learning to write stories on our device using google Docs.

What I learnt- I learnt how to use google docs for writing stories.

                                                    Title - fishing

On Friday,  me and my Dad went fishing  at tokerau beach.

 When we got there we put out the longline, well my dad baited

the hocks, I chased the seagulls   away ,so the seagulls didn't take the bait.

 when the longline was out at sea me and my dad played

rugby for fifteen minutes.

 Then we had feijoas and 

crackers. 

After that we  made sandcastles for eighteen  minutes.

Then we played some more rugby again for about fifteen minutes.

Then we had more crackers and feijoas.

Finally it was  time to pull the longline in,The first five hocks had no fish,

then on the eighth  hock we finally had a fish, when the long line was pulled in

we caught six

fish and put one back because it was too small.

Then we went home.

2 stars- I like using google docs because you can change the font.

I also like it because you can highlight the background of the words.

WALT- we are learning to make animations using google slides. 

What I learnt - I learnt how to animate images  on google slides.

Reflection-
2 stares- I enjoy making animations because you can animate what ever you like.
I also like it because you can animate how many slides you want.
1 wish- I wish I could join two background together.

The epic parrot adventure

WALT- we are learning to make our own animations using google slides.
What I learnt,I learnt how to duplicate slides using google slides.

 

Reflection-
2 stares-I like making animations because we can chose what we want to animate. I also like it because we can duplicate the slides.
1 wish- next time I want to put more slides onto my animation.

Brody's maths game

WALT-we are learning to make our own maths games.
What we learnt,I learnt how to make a game on google slides.

Reflection-
2 stares- I like the maths games because your chrome book knows if it is right or wrong.I also like it because we could chose our questions.
1 wish - I wish we could change the writing.

WALT- use google sheets to learn how to track temperatures around the world.

What I learnt

I learnt that on google sheets you can highlight boxes to collect data.

Reflection-
