 WALT:build vocabulary knowledge by reading a range of poems

we read poems and did a poem hunt to gather nouns adjectives verbs and emotive language.

 

relection:

By doing this mahi I learnt what a verb is. I think it is interesting that funk was a noun

prototec results

 WALT : prototec- Know our basic facts off by heart and  identify which problems you are trouble with.

we are learning our basic facts off by heart by using a programme called prototec. I am currently on stage 6.

 

reflection:

I am only two questions away from stage 7.I need to work on my 7 and 8 times tables.

Tuatara-acrostic poem

WALT:read to gather information and write to share key facts.

we used google drawings to create our acrostic poem.

reflection-

I found it easy to gather facts about the tuatara.

The treaty of waitangi

 WALT:Read to find information and locate significant towns and cities within New Zealand on a map.

we read all about the treaty of waitangi and then answered all the questions about it.we also had to towns on a map.

reflection:

I found the easy to find the answers in the text. I found it easy to put the answers in.

All about me

 WALT;Create a quality blog post that reflects a snapshot of yourself, goals and achievements.

We used a template on Google drawings to add information about ourselves.

reflection; I could add a picture of myself, and change the colour of the shapes next time i would like to add details to my work.
